A Work of Art

Chess is so many things......different things to different people....to the chess professional, chess is work. To club tournament players, chess may be mostly a sport. To me, chess is Art.

And thus it was with some of the greatest players of the last 120 years...Chigorin, Alekhine, Bronstein, Gufeld, Tal, Petrosian.....all saw chess as an Art.

The following game was played at the 100th Birthday Dr. Lasker Tournament, East Berlin, 1968.
