Great players are like virtuoso pianists...Rubinstein's play reminds me of Vladimir Horowitz.....

The following game was played in Hastings, 1922 between George Thomas and Akiva Rubinstein, the great Polish player. Rubinstein's games have such harmony, such a balance between positional and tactical elements, and such an organic flow from opening to middlegame to endgame, each game by this great Master is a Master Class.

This game is in Tartakower's great book, The Hypermodern Game of Chess.

Enjoy!

Peace and Joy to all in the New Year.
