Today's elite players are indeed great. They also play openings that our ancestors played more than 100 years ago!

One of my favorite chess streams is Chessbase India, with Sagar Shah. He is really entertaining, and at the same time very professional and thorough. I never imagined watching chess tournaments could be so much fun!

I am form Puerto Rico, yet Sagar's enthusiasm had me rooting for India in the last chess Olympiad!

Recently Anish Giri was doing a review of his course on the Italian opening.

In the video, Sagar points out something he learned from Anish, mainly that in the Italian Game, if White castles early, Black can start an attack with an early ....g5. But for this Black has to generally delay his own castling!

A few days ago I was reading Jimmy Adam's book on Zukertort,

and imagine my surprise when I found the following game, which was played in 1881 and illustrates this idea for Black perfectly!

This is one of the advantages of reading book collections by the great Grandmasters of the hoary past.....they have so much to teach us!

Enjoy!

Peace.

P.S.- On the recommendation of Baxer03 and Simaginfan, I include here the game Dubois-Steinitz, which has a similar idea.
