Will There Be Another Tal? (or Another Jacob Collier)- Chess and Music Intersect

The frontier between dream and reality, between what is imagined and what is realized, is so thin sometimes! Mikhail Tal! Jacob Collier! two geniuses in chess and music!

Chess and Music have much in common.....both deal with imagination, rhythm, tension and resolution, and both can open our minds to a new realm of what is possible!

This game by Tal against Smyslov in the 1959 Candidates' Tournament blew Smyslov out of the water! Smyslov, who was at the peak of his powers, and had just played in the last 3 matches for the World Championship! (1954, 1957 and 1958).....

And in music, Jacob Collier won 2 Grammys in 2017 with an album he produced in his bedroom!

He is such a genius in the music world, he reminds me of Tal! A prodigy who can play all instruments well!
