First Entry

This is my first blog entry.  Since this is chess.com, I will write about chess :)  This is the most chess that I've played since I was at MMCC (Mid Michigan Community College), back in 1992.  I am pretty darn rusty, but getting better than when I joined late last month.  My brother, who introduced me to chess.com, seems to have stopped playing.  Well, it's all just for fun, right?

 I've won the majority of my games so far, but I haven't taken on a lot of people with high ratings.  Those that I have taken on with high ratings have beaten me, but that's alright.  I'm already learning more, and I've broken out some old books, including "Chess for Fun, and Chess for Blood", which is a pretty good one.
