Hello,

Today we are going to talk about the Greco's little snake. This is another very crazy and deadly technique.

Gioachini Greco (1600-1634) is an Italian chess player. He made many early works for the development of chess. For example, he created a lot of opening traps and analyzed the Italian game.

Let's look at the basic model.

This is the basis of Greco's little snake: h7-f7-h7. It forces the opponent to create those weak squares and attack them.

Let's look at a more complex example. This is created by Greco in 1620.

Third example:

Some similar examples:

1. h7-g7 attack

2. Two knights: h7

This is it for today! Have a nice day!
