Day 16: Climbing My Way Back
Have been making my way out of self-induced purgatory and currently sitting at 1083. That is only ~4 games off from my peak and seems infinitely better than where I was a couple of days ago.
I played 7 10 minute rapid games today and went 4-3 (which of course started with 2 losses!)
The first game was a giveaway. I knew I was making a mistake when I played the move and it was definitely a mistake!
This was the position. Black to play! What is the right move....
If you said Qe1, you are right and please feel free to drop me some tips on improvement! 
I did not play that of course and missed the idea of trading the Queen for both rooks. Converting from that position would have likely required more skill than I possess, but either way, it was definitely better to have tried for that than just giving up a piece!
