Day 3: Lessons and Rating Anxiety

Over the last couple weeks, I have played very few live games. Yesterday was no exception, as I played only a single blitz game. I think I played pretty well, playing out the book moves as White via a London setup vs a Queen's Indian-like setup. 


My initial foray into the middlegame was not well thought out, giving up some of the advantage that I had out of the opening, but fortunately my opponent blundered a piece and I was able to capitalize and then convert.

I have been mostly focusing my time on lessons / course work via the tools here on Chess.com (as well as on puzzles). I do enjoy the variety and always feel like I am learning something, but the other reason I am shying away from live games is rating anxiety. It is something that I need to work on...
