Day 4: Life Happens

Not a lot of time for chess today due to family events. I played one blitz game:

Not my best game. It was a win, but I missed several strong moves that would have sealed the game more quickly.

There is a nice tactic that wins a queen for 2 bishops. I also missed a completely free queen for 1 move. Fortunately for me, my opponent also missed it and I was able to make the capture and go up nine points of material. I then managed to blunder a knight fork that won an exchange.

In the end, I set up a queen bishop battery against h7. My opponent thought they were opening a discovered attack on my queen... but it just ended with a checkmate that had clearly been missed by my opponent.
