Day 6: 1100!

I finally took the plunge back into Rapid and managed to hit 1100 for the first time!

I had a very aggressive opponent and spent most of the early game just defending. I have been trying to learn some variations in the Caro-Kann and responded OK to the early pressure, but failed to punish in the way that I could have. It all ended suddenly though when my opponent hung his Queen giving me a check.

I am fully expecting to immediately drop back under 1100, but am excited to have hit this new high roughly a year in!
