Back From The Dead

That's the only way I can describe this game I played in the final round of yesterday's tournament hosted by Greg "the Octopus" Nowak here in Missoula. I already had confronted Greg in round 2 and blown it with inattentive play, yet here I was in round 4 playing Loren Meierding, an equally tough opponent who had gotten a draw against Greg and was poised to split first place after rolling over me. For a moment it looked as if he might do it, but I dug deep and found some creative play that gave me the win. So, I beat everyone except Greg, and that's something I can live with.
