Once the children had sped off on the bus, their parents got ready to go to work as they both drove off in their old, rusty cars they passed the beach across the road from the Mackeress’ house. Where something was about to happen. “Thud! Ow!” The girl gasped in pain. “Where am I? She asked herself. Standing up, she saw she had fallen onto a beautiful beach. She spun on her heels and saw a house with a huge garage and and two rusty cars parked inside. “Who am I?”she thought, “I have to go to that old house to find out!” she thought. So she shakily lifted a foot but then crumpled to the sand. “You were meant to fly, little Birdy. She heard her mother’s voice in her head. She put her foot up as high as she could go and as if there was ground in the air, she could fly! When she reached the Maceress’ house, she rang the doorbell. “Hi! I’m Birdy!”
