Chess lessons, whats the real value

I seem to dwell on this question. What is the value of chess lessons? If you check around you will see the fees posted between 15 to 150 per hour.  I dont think the dollar value is the real question. What can you learn in a single hour? A tatic , a secret move, a plan. To me it seems the long term best idea is a steady lesson plan of regular training, going over your games. So the value of the lesson is in the total amount of time spent. 1 or 2 lessons is a waste of money I think. Find someone you can spent your time with that understands your needs and has time to help you lesson after lesson. Just shairing a few thoughts.
