I'm playing in the tournament described below. Is there someone near the Gerald Ford airport &/or Kentwood, MI who has a couch I can sleep on these Friday and Saturday nights? It's a 2.5 hour drive for me (one way).

5 round swiss
6 sections
championship section
under 1900 section
under 1700 section
under 1500 section
under 1300 section
under 1100(novice) section
unrateds play in the bottom section, but can request to play in a higher section. Make this request by the advance registration deadline.
Time Control:
Game/120 with 5 second delay
Rounds:
Saturday. 10:00am, 2:30pm, 7:00pm
Sunday. 10:00am, 2:30pm
Half point byes allowed in rounds 1-4. Must be requested before round 1.
Entry Fee:
1300 and over: $40 Subtract $10 if under 18
1100 - 1299: $30 Subtract $10 if under 18
under 1100: $20 Subtract $5 if under 18
Add $10 if entries are received after June 23, 2010
GM's, IM's, and 2200+ enter for free. Advanced entry fee
deducted from prizes.
USCF and Michigan Chess Association membership required.
Registration:
Saturday 8:30am - 9:30am
Round 1 will start on time, so be at registration before 9:30 or risk getting a half point bye for the first round or being paired against other late arrivals.
Prizes:
Championship Section: 1st $150+trophy, 2nd $75, under 2100 $70, under 2000 $70
Under 1900 Section: 1st $120+trophy, under 1800 $70
Under 1700 Section: 1st $120+trophy, under 1600 $70
Under 1500 Section: 1st $120+trophy, under 1400 $70
Under 1300 Section: 1st $100+trophy, under 1200 $50
Under 1100 Section: Trophies to 1st, 2nd, under 1000, and under 900

Hotel Chess Rate is $74 per night. (616)285-7600 for reservations. Mention the chess rate. Make reservations by June 3, 2010 to guarantee the chess rate. After June 3, chess rate is only honored if space is available.
