Game - 2 & 3
Game #2 at chess.com is a second move resignation (after 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3) from an opponent not interested in playing the long version of chess.
Game #3 was a rather tame defeat for me. I'll attempt at a neutral annotation of it:
The usual Queen's Gambit accepted
A standard variation of the opening wherein White strives to re-gain the lost pawn.
Both White and Black continue with development of their knights and march towards the center.
5... Bd7 ?
An inefficient move. The Queen is set to take the c4 pawn anyway.
Black develops bishop eyeing his castle, getting a superfluos pin as well.
White gets a better pin, the Queen isn't going anywhere soon.
A misread situation, an inopportune moment for castling. Black doesn't realize the danger on the f6 knight .
The knight is gone!
Haphazard moves, just delaying the inevitable loss of a minor piece.
Trying to chase the Queen away, trying to force an error in the scutle.
11. Qd3 h6 12. exf6 hxg5 13. Nxg5
Black has a mate sneaking up at h7 now
The h7 mate denied ... for a while
There is no where the Black king can go. No interception of the White's knight at g5 or of Queen at h3. Qh7 is set to be mate. Black resigned.
