So I dove head first into the world of Chess rankings

…only to find just how shallow my pool of knowledge is! LOL but that was what I intended I guess. I wanted to lower my rank to see where I belong and see what I can do to improve it. One thing that has helped me, not including the help I was given be folks on line, was buying ‘Teach yourself chess visually’ by Jon Edwards. It was the only book that didn’t look too intimidating. I learn better by seeing at any rate. It seem to be just what I need, I JUST got it last night and haven’t started winning against other players BUT I can see my tactics getting better against the computer.
