A Dissapointing Pairing, but Great Game
This past Friday, I decided to play in a local one-game-a-week tournament. Since my last serious tournament was three weeks ago and my next tournament will be at least another three weeks from now, I was hoping to play someone at or just below my level, to keep up my practice. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I was the second seed, which ment I was playing a player with a 1484 rating. I was a little disappointed going to the board, but it soon became clear that my opponent would be no walkover.
As of now, I hope to continue playing in two weeks (the break is due to a major event in my state), but I don't know if I will be able to yet.
