First impresions
It is said that first impressions count, and chess.com made a very good impression. I played a few live games against the computer ( I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of other players) and mainly, the computer performed as expected- it beat me. There was one exception, when I played against the HARD computer at a 5|0 game the result was draw by stalemate, after he promoted a pawn to a queen, witch was quite good for me. I still haven't tried the correspondence chess, but if it is half the value of live chess it is awesome.
I have bought Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition(XI) and I recommend it to everyone because it has great lessons and a real nice engine that is competitive, but it can also be easy to play with for people like me who are beginners.
In conclusion, every aspect I've tried so far on chess.com is well beyond any expectation and I have a huge amount of learning to do.
