A Bitter Lesson

I have been on Chess.com for over six months now and - for the most part - has been enjoyable.  However, there is always that one moment that makes you wonder if you are making any significant progress whatsoever.

After having a decent experience on the site, I decided to request some open games.  I was shocked when I didn't have to wait that long for my requests to be filled.  One of the games I requested was filled by a player named tponzi.  I was playing as white.

This was a painful lesson, but it did do some good because I was able to use this tactic in another game that guided me to a win.  If you have any comments about this game, please post.  Until next time -

Best Wishes !!
