Hello chess mates. This week we are analyzing some principles or rules to attack the castled king. It’s important to mention that we are assuming same-side castling. Let’s go straight to the point.

I invite you to subscribe. I will be uploading instructive videos for beginners and intermediate players at least every Monday.

List of The 7 Rules

  • Attack with more pieces than your opponent is defending
  • Control squares around the enemy king
  • Target the weaknesses
  • Provoke your opponent to create weaknesses
  • Don’t forget the center and the space
  • Don't sacrifice if you are not sure
  • Don't trade pieces, but trade good defenders

Good luck to everybody, and take care!!!

Stay home as much as possible.
