Hello Chess Players,

In today's miniature, we analyze a game from 1988 between GM Vassily Ivanchuk and GM Viswanathan Anand in the Reggio Emilia tournament.

Vishy Anand is a World Champion and has been nicknamed the Roger Federer of chess because he continues to play at the highest level of chess despite being 52 years old!  His opponent Vassily Ivanchuk is incredibly strong and beaten the best players in the world including Magnus Carlsen and Garry Kasparov.  He even won the World Rapid Championship back in 2016.

In this classical game, Anand quickly attacks Ivanchuk's castled king and eventually breaks through.  You can check out the game and my analysis of it below.  Enjoy!
