In this game my opponent went in Carlsen's footsteps by playing Bird's Defence in Ruy Lopes. As you probably remeber during last Chess Olympiad Carlsen lost game to Saric. I chose Bc4 instead of manline S:d4 and very early sacrified a piece for long-term positional advantage which eventually led to a nice win for White. Maybe next time I will try to play Bird's Defence myself if in mood for losing ;-)
