my boyfriend beat me at chess ...
Hello everyone in the chess world, my name is morrisseyisacuck and I have something to say. You see, I have a boyfriend. Shocking I know, especially since I have an account on chess.com--- funny how these things happen.
Anyway, my boyfriend and I sometimes like to play chess together to combat this vast digital and physical barrier between us, aka being long-distance for two months before school starts again. I miss him so much.
Chess has surprisingly been a good way to bond. We're both pretty awful at it and have no real knowledge of the game. Currently, he's beating me 6 to 5, he calls it luck but I call it wizardry.
It's always nice to play chess with him. I don't care about the game at all really, it's just a good excuse to hear his voice. His voice is pretty nice y'know, it's not too loud nor too quiet. Music to my ears. Chess is another excuse to see him. Even if it's from the corner of the screen, those little glimpses of his face make it so worth it.
I don't really know why I'm writing this blog post actually. Currently, I'm on the phone with said boyfriend and he doesn't know what I'm writing. He says, and I quote, "haha pawn kinda sounds like porn haha" ...
