En Passant
Hello guys! Today we're gonna talk about a special chess move/term called en passant. So you can do en passant when one of your opponent's pawn moves 2 squares and come side-by-side with your pawn. Example:
So, as you can see when your opponent's pawn moves 2 squares and comes side-by-side with your pawn, you go diagonally in front of the pawn and take it, like it moved 1 square. But when your opponent's pawn moves 2 squares and comes side-by-side with your pawn, you can't play a move, then play en passant you need to play it on the very next move. By the way en passant is not forced. "En passant is forced" is just a meme. And this is the end of my first blog. If you have some suggestions about writing blogs, please write it in the comments. Thank you for your time!
