I was playing a live game today against a guy rated 1262 on chess.com. I was white and he was black. When I played the King's Knight Opening, he played the Philidor Defense. He seemed to like that kind of opening because I played him in a game before this one (he was white) and we played the following:
Anyways, He played the Philidor defense and, I don't face this opening too often so I have never looked into it that much. So I tried going into the Italian game. Below is the game. I am going to write in some things, so pay attention.
So, in the end I should have lost because of one move, but that move didn't happen. So, in the actual end, I won brilliantly.
