Carpets:

A canyon is as hollow,

that those who follow its path, till whether dawn unlapse.

The twists and turns as intricate and convert,

as a snake near a bird.

Yet it still acts like a carpet,

unmoving yet malignant,

to the unwieldly powers that hide beneath.
