THE WAIT is finally over. Tactics,

Now this one I was actually planning to drop. If you don't know I actually did a forum version which had my basic outline of my plan for this blog, and the feedback some of them to read were so heartbreaking to my blogging career if this job was fireable. I would had to resign this job.

But 1 thing and only 1 thing made me make this. I don't even play close to my level when I try. And my problem in chess is I know how to explain to a 300 a 1000 even, how to play chess and tactics and basics. But when it comes game form, I cant transform it into my games.

Anyway enough rambling on lets get into the blog.

1. Pins

2. Zugzwang

3. Discovered check

4. Discovered attack

5. Sacrifices

1. Pins are "Mobility destructing" Tactic that takes advantage of a frozen piece.

In this picture Black really wants to capture white queen getting a wining position. But the pin stops that from happening.

2. Zugzwang, zugzwang is german for "forced" it means if Zugzwang were to happen that side has to make a bad move.

Black is in Zugzwang as Mate in 1 is threatened and the queen is now fully threatened as black played riskily to get another queen.

3. Discovered check, a discovered check is one of the most devastating moves in chess it can attack both your king and queen. So in most cases you lose your queen with not enough compensation

The Discovered Check left black helpless against so many threats, giving white a winning position past blundering.

4. The discovered attack is the last one but no check or sometimes yes,

The Discovered Attack of the Alekhine's Gun was to much for black and lost the gmae

5. Sacrifices, these are the blocks of mystery in chess

The queen Sacrifice caused a unstoppable M2 (mate in 2 moves.)

These are just the bare bone structure of the larger tactic tree. I hope you enjoyed another chess for beginners chapter. I hope to see you at the top.
