Sicilian defense main ideas

The Sicilian defense is a beast so expect this blog to be updated after publishing so come back regularly 

Main introduction:
The Sicilian defense is a very solid and strategic opening 

                            starting with the quick e4

                          looks like this 

                    But the main variations are very tricky and hard to grasp in this blog I will shed some light. Note I am not a master at this opening unlike my Reti blog and very few times go to its main lines. Now lets look at the mainline of the Sicilian called the Alapin Variation

Main Idea's:
So the Sicilian to know its main idea's we need to find the mainlines

these include the Sicilian Dragon. Open Sicilian, and Closed Sicilian

so I only had one checkmate game but there was a brilliant and this game had my first brilliant game
