I wanted to share an analysis of the starting position in case anyone wants to know what Stockfish 16 recommends for openings. In the beginning, white has a slight advantage, but it slowly decreases to equal, resulting in a draw. Here is the analysis:

I used the Nibbler GUI, here are the moves in text in case you want to copy/paste:
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6 4.O-O Nxe4 5.Re1 Nd6 6.Nxe5 Be7 7.Bf1 Nxe5 (or 6.Nxe5 Nxe5 7.Bf1 Be7) 8.Rxe5 O-O 9.d4 Bf6 10.Re1 Re8 11.Bf4 Rxe1 12.Qxe1 Ne8 13.c3 (or 11.c3 Rxe1 12.Qxe1 Ne8 13.Bf4) d5 14.Nd2 (There are many options after Nd2).

Keep in mind that you are a human player and not a 3600 ELO computer, so I wouldn’t recommend these moves for actual play. I hope you enjoyed this post!
