Going for broke

In this game white is a piece down and goes for broke sacrificing two more pieces in an attempted mating attack - the concept alas was flawed. A good illustration nonetheless as to why - in so many Karpov games - one sees the prophylactic Kh1 or Kh8 being played shifting the king away from checks along the diagonal.
