Chess 360, or is it 960?

Without me realizing it, i created an online game that is called chess 960. I thought it was a mistake, and that chess.com must be having a technical glitz. My officials are in wrong positions, or so I thought. But it turn out they were positioned rightly, and it was me who click the wrong settings.

What is amazing about it?

  1. Planning takes a lot of my brain capacity. Since I am use to the usual setting, I have to strategize anew, and i do have to get out of my comfort zone to do that.
  2. Castling is really nice, it can be done with an official in between. I hope standard chess can do this as well. Hahaha.
  3. e4 might not be the best opening. But what is the best opening in this game, i had yet to discover.

I am playing a few games with this setting. And I think I'll continue doing so. It was difficult, but it was a welcome change as well.
