Hi guys had a good day out at the Edinburgh Chess Club

a compitition organized by Robert Burns

Quite a strong field ranging from about 1100 to 1850

I won two games out of five, not very good but the lowest grade That I was up against was 1362 and 1468 that was the two games I won other grades I played was Dave Wilson 1650 and Nigel Chapman 1568 and Richard Scott 1616 so was not to bad and it was a great day out was watching one game that Callum Watt from Balerno Chess Club who was playing Ed Perry the strongest graded player there with a grading of 1849 And Callum was giving him a hard time and went on to beat him and went on to win the compitition so well done Callum great play all day.
