video footage from Allegro
oh, and i had to give my queen for a rook earlier to avoid a simple mate, an attack i really should have seen coming
It was the second one Andrew, i'd had a gruelling fight in the first game against Richard Pyrich, lost by the odd pawn in a same coloured bishop endgame, took a bit out of me.
Against Walter, after a dozen or so moves i thrust my pawn from b7 to b5, leaving my knight on c6 en pris, and in capturing with his knight would have forked my rook and queen too, but he missed it...
What a night, aye the the guy hits James Turner's clock that was good not many get away with stealing from James
Was it this Graham?
He even goes in at 2:15 again to make sure it's down properly, and nobody notices! lol
ROFL at the guy hitting the wrong clock. See point at 2:00 minutes. Cheaters!
Thanks for posting this Jim, it was great finish to a very tight league.
Cheers Jim, reminding me of my draw blunder
