Chess can be stressful but it doesn't need to be, especially with the type of traps that I will show you today.

TRAP 1

We start with a d4 opening. Your opponent moves the Knight to f6.

We continue to develop and move the Knight to f3. Black usually responds with the moves g6 looking to fianchetto the Bishop.

We then control the centre with e4 and black moves Bishop g7. We then push the dark squared Bishop to g5 to threaten the Knight. They will most likely play d6. After this move we are looking to push to e5.

If they take the Pawn on e5 we simply take back and open the d file. Now if your opponent takes the Queen we simply take back with our Rook.

The Knight is still threatened so if it goes to g4 eyeing up the weak Pawn on e5. We then have a little in-between move h3.

They need to move the Knight out of danger so they take the Pawn. We then continue the attack with Nd5. This is now ready to attack the c7 Pawn. If they continue to try and protect with the Na6, we simply take the Knight with the Bishop.

Black usually takes the Bishop and we then go in for a check on c7, forking the King and the Rook.

When the King moves out of check instead of taking the Rook we have a better move and that is Rd8 CHECKMATE!!!!!

TRAP 2

So going back to the position we had before. What if your opponent instead of moving the Knight to g4. What if they move Nd7?????? We continue with Nd5.

They take the Pawn on e5 with the Bishop guarding the c7 square. We then proceed to attack the Bishop with Nf3.

When they move the Bishop to safety still guarding the c7 pawn. Then we sacraifice the Bishop on d7.

Now we are threatening the Bishop so when the Bishop takes we do a check on C7, forking the King and the Rook and we are ready to take the Rook on the next move.
