Computer Chess IV: Another Step on the Road

Continuing on my quest for twenty “rated” games between chess engines, here is the first of many 0-1’s to Fruit. I personally find it more satisfying to win as black or see a 0-1 game. It has been suggested that, should chess ever be solved, the result would either be a white victory or a draw. Therefore, every time I see a player or engine win with the black pieces, it pleasantly reminds me of how far away we are from such a solution. Unless, of course, I was the white player.

In the next instalment, Fruit will play the ChessMaster Himself!
