(Almost 2000 of the Countries Top Chess Players Battle in Orlando)

The 2015 Grade National Championships were a huge success "across the board"for Chess NYC Programs.

The Chess NYC "Team First" philosophy propelled a select Network of Chess NYCPrograms to an incredible 4 National Championships!

Outperforming, powerhouse programs from throughout the U.S.A, Chess NYCproved, yet again that through hard work, "tried and true" training methods and Team Commitment that...nothing is impossible!

Brooklyn's I.S. 318 set the pace once again, claiming both the 7th and 8th gradeNational Championships while Chelsea Prep/P.S. 33 "flexed their muscles" too, taking home clear 1st Place in the 5th Grade National Championship! The Lower Lab's Lions jumped further onto the National stage for just their 2nd Year of NationalCompetition, claiming the The Title of 1st Grade National Champion and not far behind these National Championship performances were the consistently solid PS 11 Chelsea ChessMates, who claimed an impressive Top 5 in a very competitive 4th Grade National Championship Section, their Top Finish Ever!

Chelsea Prep 5th Grade National Champions

Our Chelsea Prep Program travelled with 3 Grade Section Teams anchored by the 5th grade NationalChampions!

Learning from veteran leadership 3rd grade team emerged as a top 10 team in the United States, while our 2nd grade team performed strong all weekend and and looks forward to strong return to the Big Stage!

I.S. 318 7th Grade National Champions

The "Storied" Team from Brooklyn Wins Again! Led by incredible performances from Justin, Steven, Katrina and Kunchok I.S 318, once again claimed the 7th grade NationalChampionship! #Brooklyncastle

I.S. 318 8th Grade National Champions

Brooklyn Castle Does it again! Led by Arjun, Vicki, Li & Wang I.S. 318 Dominated the 8th Grade section and won by an incredible 4.5 points #incredible

Lower Lab 1st Grade National Champions

The Lower Lab Lion Team took nationals by storm! Our strong 1st grade team battled all weekend to claim the 1st GradeNational Championship title in a very competitive section. Leading by example, our 3rd grade veterans claimed 7th place and are eager to return even stronger!

PS 11 Top 5 4th Grade Nationals

The PS 11 Chelsea ChessMates keep getting stronger!

Each year we score higher and higher. Players continue to get better. This year we placed Top 5 in the tough 4th GradeNational Championships Section! A true Team effort, all of our players "contributed to the mix" for a proud team score!
