It could only happen in New York City......
This August 20th -26th New York City Chess Inc. will partner with the World's # 1 Chess Player, 21 year old Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen for an incredible week of Chess NYC Events.
The first item announced is a week of fun and chess for children of all ages and ratings beginning Monday August 20th through Friday August 24th.
GM Carlsen will guide these lucky campers through a week of game changing instruction, play.and (appropriate) competition.
Space is a premium here in NYC so if you want in, please register you Chess Player ASAP, the camp is capped.
Please note:
* First 25 weekly applicants play a match with GM Magnus Carlsen, receive an autographed score sheet and an Autographed photo with GM Magnus Carlsen.
* 26th to 100th weekly applications will receive an Autographed photo or an AutoGraphed chess board
- Early Bird Special : $495 per week received by 12/1 2011
- "Little too late" Early Bird Special : $595 per week received by 12/31 2011
- After that: $695 regular price
- Daily rate: $150
