A picture of the moment moment

History:

chess.com domain was originalliy set up in 1995 by "Aficionado"  a company based in Berkeley, California with the goal to sell a piece of chess tutoring software called "Chess Mentor"....

Internet entrepreneur Erik Allebest and partner Jarom severson in 2005, purchased the domain name, and then created a team of developers to redevelop the site as a chess portal.

chess.com was released in june of 2007

Chess.com progressed little by little to bring us one of the best chgess sites of the world,

even from being an accumulation of bits now with the version 3 a fancy graphics, incorporating a lot of tools to bring us the posibility to make better our chess.

The first officila game online of chess, com was played the on July 8, 2007, between "erik" and "nyarlathotep".

...The beginning of one of the best chess sites......the text don't lied us.

This picture was released in 2007-2008 the first look to chess.com, how it looked, something where can do nothing...yet.

This too was released in 2007-2008 a look to the portal in beta.

Now we keep seeing porjects in beta, this are how chess.com look 8 years ago something hmmmm.....subtle.

Called the all chess.com when was introduced the new version of chess.com | approximately his era endend at the last days of 2015

 And 2016!!

Now are much people who work to chess.com, differents developers, admins....etc.

One of the more critical features was introduced on januray 13, 2012, was the "deathmatches", where was disputed award of a sum of money, some were held betweem top grand masters,  such as Hikaru Nakamura, Dmitry Andreikin, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Simen Agdestein, Lê Quang Liêm, Wesley So, Georg Meier, Arkadij Naiditsch, Loek van Wely, Fabiano Caruana, Judit Polgár and Nigel Short.......... And more

And another tournaments  in which are performed on-line called "titled tuesdays" where titled players play 1|1 time control games or bullet, to win a prize beating all the players before or held a higer score, but some of the strongest players of the net enter to chess.com just to win the prize, making be one of the stronger tournaments under of the "deathmatches" and Grand Master Blitz Battle Championship.

And chess.com after their transformations taked the attention of some of the best players who write their experiences or articles to help the community to progress, and there are regular contributions by  Gregory Serper, Bruce Pandolfini, Rafael Leitão, Dan Heisman, Jeremy Silman, Petar Genov, Daniel Naroditsky and Natalia Pogonina.

This is the story of chess.com starting with entrepreneurs and ending with a big team who manage, develop, and finances chess.com with some new projects.
