The chess game played on the world trade center 1995
Welcome back everyone, and today In honor of the attacks of september 11 I am going to show you the game between Kasparov, and Anad played on the world trade center. Really quick if anyone doesn't know about the september 11 attacks I will give a brief rundown. Basically on september 11 2001, there were 4 hijacked planes, and two of them were going to the twin towers in new york. Another plane crashed into the pentagon in washington VA. And one didn't make the journey and luckily it crashed into a field. This would lead to the loss of 3000 people and the start of the global war on terror but I'm not going to talk about that. I'm not a history teacher, I'm just some random person. Anyway I will show you the game between Garry Kasparov And Viswanathan Anand.
This game was an open spanish and there were so many tactics like sacrificing the rook for so much play with his pieces was crazy and Garry ended up winning. after his pawns ended up being too strong. Even though black pawns are closer white had more play and ended up winning. But that's all that I have for you.
