In this blog I am going to talk about an opening called coca cola gambit.
This is the gambit:
It's almost impossible to play against a random person that will play the double grob. Thanks to
@Christiannelson1 for playing the coca-cola gambit with me.
The game:
This game was pretty wild. First I had to give up a knight. I would either undevelop, or let the queen out. But there was a blunder and their queen and the fork of the king and the rook were hanging. I made a mistake and was down material in the endgame. Then my opponent got way too greedy and took an extra pawn which allowed my pawn to push and both of my pawns were able to get exchanged for the rook and a bishop. With 2 rooks I wanted to flag my opponent but I decided I was just going to checkmate him. But this was a messy game.
Conclusion
After playing one came of the coca cola opening I decided that this is not a good opening. Which absurd opening should I try next?
Ps: there is going to be another blog tomorrow and sunday. I am trying to get back on schedule.
