Rapid game #2
This game is all about recalibrating in-game. Even when you think you are winning, you often can't or don't see as far as you want to, or you miss things.
I had seen earlier that black has Rf4 Qc8, and I saw that Rf5 h6 Qxh6 f6 Qg6+ Kh8 Rh5#, but missed Rf5 Rc5! I didn't like Kh1 because of e3+ and the long diagonal opens up, so I opted to decoy Qa8 with Rf4 Qc8 Kh1. Which of course misses ...Rc1+. Note that "and the long diagonal opens up" is a bit of a mental lapse too, because in such a tactical position, one should not stop calculating with such grand statements. In fact, Kh1 e3+ Rf3! seems to be completely winning, to my non-computer-enabled eyes.
