Hi all.
Who knows, knows: I’ve been on chess.com since 2017 (I’m older than all my friends). And my history on chess.com keeps a lot of secrets and a lot can be written about it. This is one of the parts in which I will tell you the full story of the @Firefly_2010 account, the worst war in the history of chess.com, the club conflict in May and much more!

Even though I am writing a story about me, I will not say “I” but “he” to myself. Most of the information was taken from @MatveevAndrey - the main participant in the war 2020.

Sorry for the mistakes, for speed I use Google translator, since I am a Russian speaker.

On May 13, 2017, the account @Firefly_2010 appeared on the site. At first it was the account of a child who was starting his journey in chess. He did not know what communication and chat were on this site and simply played chess at a rating level of 800-1200.

By the beginning of 2019, he made a discovery for himself - on this site you can communicate. Immediately he made his first friends (not like he does now) with whom he simply talked. He entered his first club to which he was invited and began to actively communicate on the site.

He dreamed of creating his own club, but in those days you had to pay for a subscription to be able to create it. He is actively recruiting friends and then his friend appears (I don’t remember the nickname). @Firefly_2010 shared his desire to create a club and his friend who had a subscription suggested that he create his club. @Firefly_2010 was very happy. So, in December 2019, the club "Firefly_2010 And His Friends" appeared.

The club slowly developed. @Firefly_2010 was promoted to ADMIN and gave orders to the creator of the club who to promote or demote, what to change in the club and what to do. The club gained 80 users, but a very unpleasant story happened to this club. The creator of the club had a best friend - @Giorghs44. Without @Firefly_2010's permission, the club's creator promoted him above @Firefly_2010 himself - to super-admin! @Giorghs44 liked the activity in the club, although it was small, and he didn’t seem to have a subscription either. Therefore, @Giorghs44 did not miss the opportunity and at the beginning of 2020 kicked @Firefly_2010 out of the club and took it for himself, making it “Giorghs44 and his friends”. @Firefly_2010 asked the creator to return it and kick @Giorghs44 out, but the club creator traded @Firefly_2010 and refused him. @Firefly_2010 left the English-speaking community for the Russian-speaking one.

@Firefly_2010 found many Russian-speaking friends (he himself is Russian-speaking) and a new club, Firefly_2010 And His Friends ( now Firespark), was created on 28 February 2020. where @Firefly_2010 received full leadership. The club gradually grew, adding 20-30 people per month. There were a lot of parodies of the club Firefly_2010 And His Friends, mostly from his friends.

There were very good times. The @Firefly_2010 club grew very actively, people played chess a lot and communicated, loved each other. But do you think everything will be that simple? Perhaps the most terrible disaster of chess.com occurred not only in the Russian-speaking community - the disaster also reached Americans and people from other countries. The most terrible war in which 90% of the Russian community and quite a few English-speaking users died ( quit chess.com ).

On May 3, 2020, there were 137 people in the @Firefly_2010 club. Considering that the club was created on February 28, 2020, the club grew very quickly by the standards of 2020. However, on May 4, someone kicked out more than 40 people from the club.

After this, a scandal broke out, as a result of which many people were rude to each other, because of this, some users left the site.

The club "Firefly_2010 and His Friends" also faced a similar fate. After a one-day “detective”, @tixon2008 was accused of destroying the club, since before that he had also kicked out many users from different clubs. Then there was no club audit log, and only when it appeared (in the fall of 2020) it became clear that it was not @tixon2008 who kicked out more than 40 people, but a close friend at that time for @Firefly_2010. It was @Cat_Warrion. (even I’m shocked, my best friend whom I trusted... by the way, that’s why I don’t like that we have a lot of super-admins).

In this tense atmosphere, a scandal began. @Cat_Warrion already had a bad reputation, and his friends were @LEV5444 and @ReaLiXYT.

Meanwhile, @ReaLiXYT is the SA and @Cat_Warrion is the admin. But @Cat_Warrion, after his “dirty work”, says: “I don’t know who could do this!”. And he also makes a forum called “You people are completely stupid.”

The club "Galimbovskiy and his Friends" with a hundred users was left with one, the club @alexeyMarkelov "BRAWL STARS" had 300 users and was left with one hundred. The war began to grow.

On May 5, the @Firefly_2010 club has already recruited 15+ people back, and @Firefly_2010 is promoting all former SAs to SAs and coordinators to admins. @LEV5444 went on a mission to destroy the @tixon2008 club and for this he will receive SA on May 6th.

On May 6, 2020, the club again has 118 users, and @tixon2008 disables its club. LEV gets SA.

On May 7, the club already had 123 people, and it will soon be restored. @LEV5444 wants to promote @ReaLiXYT, but he himself is arguing and does not want a promotion and says that @Firefly_2010 club is inadequate. Of course, @Firefly_2010 himself doesn't like it and threatens him with a ban, but @LEV5444 really doesn't want that. But @ReaLiXYT continues to freak out, and @Firefly_2010 also "picks up" a very contagious psychosis and threatens to close his account.

We can stop a little and talk a little about the rules of the Firespark club at that time.

Firstly, then there was a “red book”, in other words, a list of rule violators. And everything that was not good for @Firefly_2010 or his club violated the rules.

And there was an important rule - Super Admins could not promote anyone without the permission of the creator, but on May 7 @LEV5444 promoted @ReaLiXYT to oSuper Admin. @Firefly_2010 immediately demotes Realix, but I repeat - there was no audit log then, and it was impossible to see who did it.

In general, briefly, every day was a complete mess, clubs were destroyed and rebuilt.
Did you think that was all? Now there will be a story about the most MASSIVE war against ONE PERSON - @Firefly_2010.

Yes, this is not what I want to remember. Although I don’t remember everything completely, I definitely know a few parts and the basics of the war...

There was such a person (he still is): @CherevashkoVladislav. He studied at the same chess school with me and I often saw him at tournaments. He had a club: CherevashkoVladislav And His Friends. Absolutely everyone there was Russian-speaking and there were about 140 of them there. It was because of this club and my former club Firespark that this terrible war took place in the Russian-speaking community which killed almost all Russian accounts. I won’t even tell you the reason... It’s so stupid that I’m ashamed to tell you why it happened. I’ll just say - almost everyone was to blame for this - including me.

I didn’t even quite understand why it started. But I definitely remember that I had a quarrel with @RealixYT because he wrote all sorts of garbage in the notes. After that incident, my memory was completely lost. And it’s better for you not to know how everyone fought there. I only remember the destruction of the Firespark club and my last messages. Briefly speaking. The conflict was burning. I had both enemies and allies. The enemies' goal was to destroy the Firespark club. Like a moron, I trusted my friends (after that incident I don’t trust anyone at all) and my club was destroyed by 40 users. I was online then and managed to save the club by demoting all the admins. I still don’t understand who betrayed me like that. All the innocent people wanted me to promote them back. I refused them for a long time, and then I did such a stupid thing... I trusted again... And I promoted one guy (I don’t remember exactly who). My main enemy infiltrates the club: @Matveev_Andrey and destroys my club up to 5 users. My reputation is gone. Everyone completely went over to the side of the enemies. And then on June 6 or 7, 2020, I create the club “Tomb Firefly_2010” where I end my activities. My very last allies came there (as far as I remember it was @LEV5444 and @metallistverder) and said goodbye to me. I managed to see my enemies penetrate there. On June 8, 2020 I am leaving the site completely. On August 26, 2020, my father logs into the account and blocks it from me at my request. I ended the @Firefly_2010 account.
Just as stupid as I was 3 years ago, I still am. This is how I want to end this blog.

Who is interested in reading the notes (though they are in Russian) from the times of that conflict, here is a link to the Firespark club (https://www.chess.com/club/firespark). Now it is a monument to those terrible times, a monument to all banned and closed accounts. A monument to all children who received psychological trauma from this war. Who is interested, on pages 24-40 of the notes are all the negative notes from the most terrible periods not only of me but of the entire Russian-speaking chess.com community. God forbid you see this. There they even calculated the address to kill a person in real life. Everyone there was stupid. Everything. But I'm the dumbest. I don't hide this. Glory to all the accounts that have been closed due to this disgraceful altercation on a chess site. And thank you for reading. Have a nice day! Goodbye...
