The Bongcloud Opening

The Bongcloud opening is the worst opening in chess. The most popular of the bongcloud is the opening when white plays e4 and then King e2. The name "Bongcloud" starts from the account Leny_Bongcloud. The owner of Leny_Bongcloud always plays this in his/her every match. The bongcloud has no advantage and about 4 disadvantages:

+ The king is no longer safe

+ You made the bishop and the queen don't have any space to move

+ You lose the opportunity to castle

+ You let your pawn unprotected

+You lose opportunity to develop pieces

And those are the disadvantages. An advice for you: DONT PLAY IT ANYWAY OR YOU WILL LOSE! But in the history, many of the Grandmasters like GM Hikaru Nakamura, GM Marnus Carlsen, etc played this and win. I have to say that GM Wesley So has lost Hikaru and Carlsen even when Hikaru and Carlsen played the bongcloud.

Even that, if you don't think you will beat the opponent with this opening, don't play it anyway.
