The finale went well and .... all the sudden... Draw by mistake

I was happy, I played a game that went well, I had a queen and my opponent did not. And... I did not win because we went draw. I did not see it ! Oops... 

The bad thing with finale when you win is that you don't even consider something else than ... Winning. You move your pieces, you get his/her pieces, you put the opponent's King in a bad position and... The position is so bad there is no other option. You could have won. And easily ! But you have to consider draw by mistake. You did not let the opponent move enough for your (brilliant of course) plan to win. And... oops...

Lesson learned ! If the clock allows it, pay attention to winning properly with no oopsie in the finale. Especially a piece set to a dangerous place (I almost won, so close that I lost) or draw by mistake.
