Hello everyone.

In this new post series called "Chess Books", i want recommend as the first one the book Grandmaster Chess Strategy.

Well, this book is very interessant so to speak. He focus on Ulf Andersson's games, which has a crystal clear positional play and very didactic positional constructions. If you're tired of play 1.e4 or 1.d4 almost every game, you should try this book, Ulf is a great enthusiast of 1.Nf3 and 1.c4 and his games will certainly help you.

This book is not written by Ulf Anderssen himself, but the learning load contained in this book is enormous - of course - you have to read any chess book actively, analyzing the games for yourself first and later read the author analyzes. Doing this will help you improve you chess intuition and analysis, but let's not get too far from the topic, it's just advice.

O.K. and what about my opinion? 10/10

The reason I gave it full marks is that, in addition to being a great game book, the author is careful to explain some moves that he finds important and not just throws long computer variants at the reader.

I guess that every chess player should read this book at least one time. Have a good day.
