No Patience Required in Chess

It is a lie to think that Chess requires patience.  This is an illusion and sham on the part of an uninformed observer.  The truth of the matter is that the thinking behind this game is most violent.  Each side is attempting to destroy the other.  This is not a game of peaceful coexistece where one attempts to be "slightly" better than the other.  Even high level games which begin to slowly build up positions and fall into wars of attrition most often end in agressively fast violence.  While waiting for an apponent to move so I in turn can make my move, I am not given to day dreaming as I might while I wait for my wife to exit the store or my children to come to dinner.
