A Very Wild King Hunt
Who doesn’t like king hunts? 🏹
A king hunt consists of giving the opponent’s king a series of blows (such as checks) all over the board so that it has no respite.

What I love about them is the risk that the attacking side takes, particularly when material is sacrificed to drive the opponent’s king away from its safe position.
That´s why today I wanted to share with you an amazing hunt. This game was played back in 1912 by German American Edward Lasker, not to be confused with former world champion Emanuel Lasker.

In this amazing king hunt, he sacrifices a queen to chase Black’s king for 8 consecutive moves.

Additionally, in this video I’ll also teach a very interesting line that you can play as White against the Dutch Defense.
