Speaking about chess tactics, today I’d like to give you a pro tip: try to put as many tactical problems as possible. This can work well against any opponent, even stronger opponents.
I was able to beat many titled players (both online and over the board) by creating complications.
Let’s not remember that your opponents are not chess engines and no matter how strong they are, they will collapse sooner or later under pressure.
To illustrate this, I selected a game from the recent 2024 Prague International Chess Festival Masters where the tournament winner Nodirbek Abdusattorov won a wild game against David Navara.
Even though he won the game, he actually made many mistakes but the value of attacking or creating wild complications is high.
