First Club Match of the New Season - a WIN! :)

On Monday 8th October I had a pretty easy game against an unrated opponent, the game was over on move 9 but he made me get creative to finish him off lol, I KNOW I missed checkmate in the middlegame, I know I did...

Out of the 40-odd minutes I used on my clock, about 25 of them were spent in the middlegame trying to find the forced mate... I couldn't see it... haven't ran the game through Houdini yet but I'm sure I missed about 3 or 4 mate-in-2's 

First game of the season, an easy win, I got offered a spot to play today for our first team but had to back out due to illness and an early morning start for work the next day. Bring on the next opponent
