ADVANCED PIECE

Dear Friends,

                      Today i am presenting a new topic the advanced piece.

First of all what is an advanced piece?

The piece that  has reached the middle of the board i.e. 4th rank or above from whites side or 5th rank and above from blacks side and is the most advanced of its all fellow pieces  is called an  advanced piece.It can create an attack if opponent underestimates its threat it or it can become a point of attack if not handled properly.We will see examples of advantages and disadvantages of an advanced piece.

                 Therefore care has to be given for advanced piece so that it is not trapped.

So always careful of your opponents most advanced piece or it can create a winning attack.

So always look whether your advanced piece is safe or not.

So an advanced piece if underestimated can sometimes create a winning attack or if not given proper attention can become a point of attack.So look for advanced piece in your side give him suffiecent safety or in your opponents camp if you can take its advantage.
